About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate the development, enhancement, and integration of our payment system infrastructure. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, aligning business goals with technical delivery, and ensuring that payment-related projects are executed efficiently, securely, and on schedule.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in fintech, payment platforms, or transaction systems, and excels at leading complex projects across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end project management for initiatives related to payment gateways, transaction processing, e-wallets, and other financial services
* Define project scope, timelines, resource needs, and milestones in alignment with business goals
* Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Finance teams to define clear requirements and deliverables
* Oversee day-to-day execution of project plans, including sprint planning, standups, risk tracking, and change management
* Manage third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, banking APIs, fraud prevention tools)
* Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and regulatory standards related to financial transactions
* Identify, monitor, and resolve project risks, blockers, and dependencies
* Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders in a clear, consistent manner
* Drive continuous improvement in project delivery frameworks, processes, and tools
* Ensure timely delivery of project outcomes within scope and budget
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on payment systems or fintech
* Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects end-to-end
* Solid understanding of payment ecosystems, transaction flows, settlement processes, and payment gateways
* Familiarity with PCI-DSS compliance, KYC/AML requirements, and regulatory environments
* Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into business terms
* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Confluence) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Hybrid)
* Experience working with both internal development teams and external vendors or partners
* Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to evolving business needs
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
