About the Role:
We are seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy Data Specialist to manage, analyze, and interpret data to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will ensure data accuracy, optimize database systems, and provide insights through data analysis and reporting. This role is critical in supporting the Marketing team and BOD’s requirement with reliable and actionable data.
Responsibilities:
● Collect, organize, and maintain data across multiple platforms and databases.
● Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security through regular audits and updates.
● Identify and resolve data discrepancies and anomalies.
● Analyze data to generate insights that support business strategies and decision-making.
● Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
● Collaborate with teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
● Support the design and implementation of database structures to meet organizational needs.
● Optimize data collection processes for efficiency and scalability.
● Work with Marketing teams to improve data pipelines and workflows.
● Partner with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver insights.
● Translate complex data findings into understandable summaries for stakeholders.
● Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve business outcomes.
● Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
● Maintain documentation of data processes and procedures.
● Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data technologies.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
● 3+ years of experience in data management, analysis, or a related role.
● Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
● Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel skills.
● Familiarity with data governance and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
● Experience with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis.
● Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
● Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
