About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development (BD) to scale and optimize our affiliate marketing program. In this role, you will drive strategic growth by identifying high-value affiliate partnerships, optimizing program performance, and achieving revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in affiliate marketing, a strong strategic mindset, and a proven track record in business development within the digital landscape.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute strategies to grow the affiliate program, focusing on acquiring high-performing affiliate partners.
● Build and maintain strategic relationships with key affiliates, negotiating agreements to drive mutual growth.
● Explore and onboard new affiliate channels, platforms, and markets to expand reach.
● Collaborate with product teams to develop affiliate-focused campaigns and initiatives.
● Monitor and analyze affiliate performance data to identify growth opportunities and optimize results.
● Identify new business opportunities within the affiliate space and develop tailored pitches for high-value partnerships.
● Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.
● Develop innovative affiliate marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue.
● Establish KPIs for the affiliate program and ensure regular tracking, reporting, and performance reviews.
● Provide leadership with actionable insights based on campaign analysis and market data.
● Optimize commissions and incentives to maintain a profitable and motivated affiliate network.
● Ensure affiliate activities align with legal requirements, brand standards, and ethical practices.
● Proactively address and resolve any fraudulent activity or program discrepancies.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
● 3-4+ years of experience in affiliate marketing or business development.
● Demonstrated success in scaling affiliate programs and driving revenue growth.
● Strong analytical skills, with experience using data-driven insights to inform strategy.
● Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
● Experience in global affiliate marketing and familiarity with international markets.
● Expertise in affiliate marketing tools and platforms
● Knowledge of digital marketing, e-commerce, or SaaS business models.
● Proficiency in CRM systems and business development software.
