About the Role
The Backend Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems. This role requires a strong foundation in programming languages like Node.js and Java, as well as a deep understanding of database technologies and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing APIs, collaborating effectively within a team, and delivering high-quality code within deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain APIs using Node.js and/or Java.
- Collaborate effectively within a team or work independently, adhering to established processes.
- Ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience with Node.js.
- Proficient in PHP, Java, and the J2EE Framework.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Ability to write reusable Java libraries.
- Familiarity with MVC, JDBC, and RESTful concepts.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with the following technologies:Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, MySQL, AWS services such as EC2 and S3,RabbitMQ and/or Kafka,OAuth 2 and JWT
