Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Head of the Legal Department to lead our department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the legal strategy framework, develop risk management models, and ensure regulatory adherence in line with both local and international standards. Responsibilities
- Build and lead the legal department, including hiring and managing a team.
- Create legal strategies and processes that support the company’s business goals and ensure compliance with Thai laws.
- Advise on legal issues related to contracts, corporate governance, intellectual property, and employment law.
- Ensure the company complies with all local, regional, and international regulations.
- Manage relationships with external legal advisors, regulators, and government agencies.
- Handle legal disputes and mitigate risks to protect the company.
- Work closely with senior leaders to provide legal advice for business decisions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in Thai law and ensure the company adapts as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); a Master’s degree or advanced legal qualification is a plus.
- 10+ years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in building a legal team from scratch.
- Strong knowledge of Thai corporate law and compliance.
- Fluent in both Thai and English.
